The internet doesn't need another blog. it really doesn't. and it definitely doesn't need another one about AI or fintech — two spaces already drowning in recycled linkedin takes, chatgpt-generated thought leadership, and "hot takes" that say absolutely nothing.
So why are we here?
Because somewhere between the hype and the noise, there are real conversations worth having. About how AI is actually reshaping finance - not in some abstract, futurist keynote way, but in the day-to-day. In the messy spreadsheets. In the workflows no one talks about because they're not sexy enough for a twitter thread.
What this is?
Alfrd's frontier is a space for people who want to stay ahead of what's happening in Fintech and AI - but don't want to wade through slop to do it.
We'll be writing about Fintech. AI. the intersection of both. and sometimes, the stuff that has nothing to do with either but we find too interesting to keep to ourselves.
Some of it will be analysis. some will be opinion. some will be us thinking out loud and inviting you to disagree. The only rule is that every word published here will come from a real person with a real perspective - not just a fancy prompt.
Yes, we see the irony. we're building an AI company. we use AI every day. and we're telling you this blog won't be AI-generated. that's not a contradiction — it's a standard. AI is a tool. it's not a voice. And if you're reading something on this site, a human thought it, wrote it, and stands behind it. But I will admit Claude might help here and there - my spelling has deteriorated severely since that one fateful night when I first met ChatGPT.
What we're building here
More than a blog - a community. we want to bring together people who are genuinely curious about where Finance and AI are heading. People who read. People who think critically. People who want different perspectives, not just the loudest ones.
